"The Alchemist" is the fifth episode from the second season of The Mysterious Cities of Gold.
Summary[]
Tao and Esteban are about to go the jaws of Pang-Li's alligator. They are saved by a mysterious man who uses various flasks to escape. Mendoza covers them while they try to escape in the Golden Condor. Their escape is thwarted when the leader of the pirates shoots an arrow, causing Esteban and the man fall into the forest. Mendoza meets up with them and the man introduces himself as Ambrosius. Meanwhile, the pirates are hunting the three down.
